When people find out that I am a travel agent, usually their first question goes something like, “Oh, how much does it cost to go to…Alaska, a cruise, Timbuktu??” I enjoy the enthusiasm of their interest, but there are so many factors to consider when answering these types of questions. I can’t just make up a price without knowing specific details.
I bring this up because, lately I have noticed that Lisa has been getting a lot of these types of generic questions pertaining to exercise. My personal favorite was from a woman who was trying out a class. She bombarded Lisa with random questions throughout the whole class. Not questions about doing the exercises correctly, but questions that are specific to her. At the very end she asked in all seriousness, “So, how many calories did I just burn?” I am sure there is an exact answer to her question, but surely the answer requires knowing some specific details.
Sometimes you can just tell when someone is wasting your time(and theirs). So far, that woman has not been back. It truly is her loss. Lisa and Greg have a wealth of knowledge that they are more than willing to share. It seems to me that exercise and healthful living is a highly personal experience and results are varied. Taking a one time free class to see if you like it is great, but if you want to get the results you are looking for and personalized information, sign up for a session and schedule a consultation- You get what you pay for!
